Dental Research Study
Purpose:
Determine the potential dysfunction as a result of the prolonged positioning required in dentistry.
Hypothesis:
1. The persistent poor posturing of dentists leads to a breakdown of the vertebral column, thus resulting in spinal dysfunction.
2. A significant difference will be noted between groups, determined by years of practice, for spinal mobility and posture.
3. A significant difference will be noted in individual subjects for spinal mobility.
Current Study Update:
28 subjects enrolled and completed during initial testing.
Current Study Status:
Holding classification due to present shortage of resources.
